Speak a Prophetic Word
“Speak a prophetic message and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.” Ezekiel 37:9
It may sound melodramatic that my spirit is bursting forth with thanks, praise, and with holy laughter, but everything God does is nothing short of spectacular. My friend, Kathy, didn’t know I was sitting in a hospital when God spoke to her on my behalf. I pray you will grasp the depth of God’s love through this prophetic message and prayer. See the mighty hand of God on display. He alone is worthy of our praise.
From Kathy Harris June 27, 2017 (two days before she was notified I was sitting in the hospital.).
I am rereading THE SCHOOL of SEERS by Jonathan Welton. The assignment I read on June 27th was to let God bring someone to mind in picture form. I saw your name so I pictured you standing up. I saw light around your body, not your legs, but around your torso and head. I believe it was a picture of God’s presence in those portions of your body for healing.
Today the assignment was to send that word to you. I felt God had more to say so the following letter is what I believe He told me for you…
Dearest Teresa,
You are My Beloved. I smile when I think about you. You bring joy to My heart. I see the desires of your heart; your desire to please Me, to obey – even when it is hard. I know you (Psalm 139:1), and I am pleased. I dance over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).
Your voice will carry My message to people you do not know and will never meet, until we are all together in My Presence. Some you will see and will know, but also know the message will spread beyond your limited physical sphere.
I am watching over you, to protect you and guide you. In your weakness you have persevered to bring glory to My Name. I am a rewarder of those who love and trust in Me (Hebrews 11:6). Your reward is coming; it is near at hand.
This prophetic message is a beautiful addition to my testimony how God went before me when I was unaware of my heart condition. It all began with the prophetic dream, Cross of Steel, and I summarized how it unfolded in A Prophetic Dream Comes To Pass.
God worked miraculously and the thrill I have in my soul is a greater expectation for God to heal me of all my diseases. God’s word says that by the word of our testimony we will see signs and wonders. This is the beginning of my healing from epilepsy, colitis, and thyroid. What God did so beautifully for me behind the scenes and in the shadows, I know He is doing now.
Mark 16-15 and 20 states: “And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.’ And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.”
We all have a story to share. Our God-stories begin when we accept Jesus as our Savior, but our stories should have no end. God writes the pages and they should evolve, build on the last, and continue to reveal God’s love of forgiveness and salvation to a lost world.
- Do you have God-stories to announce? Don’t refrain from sharing the amazing things God has and is doing in your life? “Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things He does.” I Chronicles 16:24 and Psalm 96:1-3
- Ask God to give you a picture of who and how to pray for someone: “Brothers and sisters, pray for us.” I Thessalonians 5:25; Philippians 2:3-4
- Linger in God’s presence: Be a blessing to someone today, simply by lingering a bit longer in God’s presence. Wait for God to speak clearly and specifically. Allow God to be the lover of your soul. “O my darling, lingering in the gardens, your companions are fortunate to hear your voice. Let me hear it, too!” Song of Solomon 8:13
- Pray for the gift of prophecy: God’s Word tells us above all other gifts, desire the ability to prophesy. Have a passion to hear the voice of God and use the spiritual gift of prophecy to encourage and build up the body of Christ. “Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy (I Corinthians 14:1)." To prophecy is to strengthen others, encourage them, and comfort them."
I want to be part of the “you” where “all the people around you will see the power of the Lord—the awesome power I will display for you.” Exodus 34:10
“Who is like you among the gods, O Lord— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?” Ezekiel 15:11t
