Holiness - Dressed in White Dream
Angel Mercy/India:
“I didn’t really want to write this dream down, but I couldn’t forget it. Again and again God asked me to write it down and after one and a half weeks I decided to send it to Teresa. In my dream I write, “me being important?” I write it with full humility.’ All I can do now is pray about this dream,” Angel wrote.
The second scene is disturbing, but the dream as a whole reveals how we can be part of the solution. God needs prayer warriors. God needs you to be a praying believer.
White Dress Dream:
I (Angel) am wearing a white dress. Somehow, I’m one of the important people who helps in the church. My ministry includes working within my areas of expertise, rather, using my spiritual gifts. It appeared to be an important position where I would take on responsibility for decision-making, but I didn’t see details of what that entailed.
There was a girl who was fair and lying down. Suddenly two huge men came and captured her nudity on camera.
Interpretation:
Angel’s beauty is exhibited in I Peter 3:3-4 “It should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”
The white dress represents being “clothed in righteousness.” White is a covering of the glory of God. A sign of purity, holiness, and humility. “The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white.” Revelation 3:5
“There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. Matthew 17:2-3
Angel’s dream begins how God sees her. She is humble and walks in holiness. God is using this dream to confirm the same message she has received in previous dreams and verses. The Lord will use her spiritual gifts and bring her into a new place of ministry. (Repeated themes in dreams is an important element to interpreting your God-dreams. Most often God is confirming and reaffirming his will in your life when you are seeing patterns in dreams, vision, and scripture passages.)
Angel knows her primary role is to intercede and at the proper time, God will put her in a place of authority. Though she is young she shouldn’t underestimate her spiritual influence.
The dream confirms that at the appointed time God will put her in a place of importance and she can be confident he will provide the details as to what her role is.
Upon receiving the dream, Angel knew that the young girl and the men represented sex trafficking. Even though Angel doesn’t currently work with those caught in human trafficking, God is using her to intercede for those he sees. Ephesians 4:2; Philippians 2:3.
“I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged.” 2 Corinthians 12:21
Another important prayer strategy Angel took away from this dream was for people to be set free from pornography. Angel heard a message by Christine Cane stating that pornography is also one of the things that supports human trafficking. If you are addicted to pornography, then you are very much supporting human trafficking.
Angel is praying for God to reveal if her ministry in this dream is a literal ministry to help free those caught in human bondage. Or, if her role at this time is primarily to intercede as the Lord leads.
Angel didn’t see the face of the girl in the dream. This could be because Angel won’t be working directly with those caught in human slavery, but it could also represent an intercessory ministry that focuses on this specific issue and/or for her to lead an intercessory team. . No face may also represent that most of the faces of those in human bondage are held in darkness. Her dream represents a very specific sin and darkness in our world to pray for
Nakedness can represent shame (Genesis 2:25 – Adam and Eve). This scene calls out a specific sin and how man takes advantage of those who are helpless. The men saw no wrong in what they were doing. Unfortunately, many of those caught in human slavery feel shame, when the shame should be on the perpetrators.
Instead of shame, the dream depicts how they relish in their actions by capturing their wickedness on camera. She was like a trophy to them They weren’t trying to hide their sin. Christians should pray that the sin of those who take part in pornography and human slavery will be exposed.
Human trafficking is one of the largest businesses in the world. It is full of greed, self-gratification, and power of forced labor and sexual exploitation. It’s estimated 18 million are “living in conditions of modern slavery in India. Industries implicated in the survey data include domestic work, the construction and sex industries, agriculture, fishing, manufacturing, manual labor, and forced begging.” (The Global Slavery Index)
Take time to read Human Trafficking by the Numbers by Human Rights First. The numbers alone should cause every believer to pause and intercede for a breakthrough to free millions. Don’t limit what God can do through you.
So often it feels like my prayers for millions to be set free across the globe doesn’t have an impact. We must never forget that God is infinite and sees every heart who is suffering from those who make wickedness their source of income.
For now, as Angel said, all she can do is pray that the Lord will reveal to her what role of importance she is to hold in the church, as well as to pray that those who are living in modern day slavery will be set free. Angel cannot see with her natural eyes those caught in modern day slavery, but God sees all and has shown her the importance to pray against this demonic hold over our world today.
God “roams the earth” searching for one to stand in the gap. Angel is willing to be one. Are you? 2 Chronicles 16:9 “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”
I pray we walk in righteous, moral behavior (dressed in white, in holiness) and be a light for Jesus in this dark world.
And, come to think of it, Angel’s willingness to share her story (she didn’t know I was drafting this) is one way God has begun using this dream to raise awareness of this horrific business.
We should persevere in prayer, not only for those we know, but for those we don’t know. Pray big! May God free thousands and millions in one day. (Luke 1:37). Photo by Sammisresearch
