Happy Spring!

Happy Spring friends!

The flowers are beginning to bloom and everywhere I look I see smiling faces. The days are getting longer and the thoughts of summer get everybody talking. As a new season begins, what better way to start than with a focus on prayer.

Don’t arrow back because you just read “prayer.” If you see the word, “prayer” and that’s your first instinct, I think you need to take a closer look what prayer means to you.

When we hear the word, “prayer,” a passion and desire to pray should rise up within our soul and spirit. The word “prayer” should stir us to stay and pray.

How would you categorize your desire to pray?

  • “I have to pray?”
  • “I need to pray?”
  • “I want to pray?”
  • “I must pray?”
  • “I have a passion for prayer?”
  • “Prayer is my worship to God?”

Passionate prayer results in faith-creating prayers. It’s difficult to have faith for what we don’t see without living a life of prayer. It’s where we put God first. It’s where we learn to have the confidence to let go of our needs and give them to Jesus.

I know many of you personally, including your prayer needs. I know some of you as a subscriber and others because you clicked on this site. I may never know your name, but God knows all of us by name and needs.

Living in Germany for five years I've had to rely on several people to translate Deutsch. Without a translator, there is a tremendous amount of difficulty and frustration understanding one another. I've come to learn there are words or phrases that can’t be formulated into English or translated word-for-word. Not with God! John 14:6 and Ephesians 3:12

Jesus intercedes on our behalf and translates our requests to our Heavenly Father perfectly. I never have to question if Jesus expressed the intent of my heart correctly.

When I pray for you, I am confident Jesus takes my prayers and translates them in a way I never could. Christ is our personal translator. Romans 8:34 and I Corinthians 3:21-23

Find peace today knowing that God knows who you are, where you are, and what you need. I'm praying for you and I hope you are praying for me. I’ve listed a few of my prayer requests below.

It’s our right and privilege as Christians to pray in Jesus name. I couldn’t fulfill God’s will to manage this blog without the prayers of family, friends, and you.

I don’t want to use the word “prayer” flippantly and I hope you don’t either. Would you pray for me too?

Teresa Praise and Prayer Requests:

Lord, I give you glory for creating a platform where you can be glorified and your name can spread across cultures and nations. Take this blog and send it to the four corners of the earth.

God, may every word and scripture on this blog be multiplied for people to hear the gospel and for Christians to grow in their knowledge of who you are.

God, bless all those who are praying for me the way you blessed Job when he prayed for his friends. I claim Job 42:10 as my promise for all readers.

My prayer for content: Ephesians 6:19 - “Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearless make known the mystery of the gospel.” Ephesians 6:19

Lord, I pray that every subscriber and reader of this blog will learn something new of you, that we will learn from one another, and that together we can continue our spiritual journey to proclaim your name for the salvation of souls. May we all see you in the fullness of your glory. Thank you for hearing all of my prayers.

Thank you for taking care of the needs of my friends (near and far). May they hear your voice with certainty and know which direction to take. In Jesus name. Amen

Have a great day my treasured friends. Take in the soothing sounds and smells of spring and create melodies to the Lord. Ephesians 5:19

Take a moment to watch this short video by Francis Chan “The Awe Factor of God.” When you see how vast the universe is, words fail me as to how God knows me personally and how He prays specifically for me, Teresa Odden.
