Prophetic Prayers, Prophetic Vision & Prophetic Assurance
“But as for me, I will always proclaim what God has done.” Psalm 75:9
Prophetic Prayer - Journal entry June 8, 2016:
The Lord stirred my spirit to proclaim specific verses in the Bible about His angels:
• Let your angels ascend and descend upon my life, Lord. Genesis 28:12
• Give your angels charge over me and deliver me from all harm. Psalm 91:11
• Chase the enemy, by a “wind sent by the angel of the Lord. Psalm 35:5
• Send your angels to destroy demons that come to destroy me. Isaiah 37:36
• Send your angels to minister to me. Matthew 4:11
The June 8, 2016 journal entry is just one piece to a puzzle that surfaced since I had heart surgery on June 30, 2017. Each “piece” has developed into a beautiful picture of what God prepared long before I knew I needed a miracle.
June 12, 2017 was my Walk of Frustration and Angels. It was this day, two weeks before surgery, that God reminded me there were three angels perched on my desk.
July 2, 2017 I finished drafting Kathy’s prophetic prayer for me (Speak a Prophetic Word). I was casually going through my journal when I stumbled upon the day I saw God’s angels perched on my desk. I had forgotten most of the details, but I also didn’t make a connection that this vision came four months after I started praying the verses above.
Prophetic Vision: October 8, 2016:
During my time of worship, I had this feeling that I wanted to anoint my computer with oil. It sounds ridiculous and I took a moment to question if this is something God would approve of. Is it Biblical?
My thoughts went to the Old Testament when the Israelites were instructed to consecrate some of the articles in the temple. I went to Leviticus 8:11 which states, “He sprinkled the oil on the altar seven times, anointing it and all its utensils, as well as the washbasin and its stand, making them holy.”
God used the oil as His “own way of sanctification -- making things holy unto Himself ... Some of the articles of the tabernacle and temple were sanctified simply by a setting apart and sprinkling with oil. Leviticus 8:10 states, “Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the Tabernacle and everything in it, making them holy,” (NLT). Anointing Oil Commentary
I felt this was a symbolic way for me to consecrate and surrender my writing and this blog to God. I took the anointing oil that my dear friend, Sheila, bought me. I placed a drop on the tip of my finger and decided to start in the corners. I hesitated. God gently said, “the four corners …that covers all.”
Suddenly, a silence and stillness fell over me. I sensed God’s angels sitting on my desk. I understood they were His helpers, givers of God’s gifts, and guidance. Psalm 92:14 states that God sends His angels to minister on our behalf. “Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation,” Hebrews 1:14. God was ministering to me through His angels.
God began to remind me of the years of trials and tribulations growing up in an alcoholic home and the many challenges my family faced with the sins of my father. Not that I don’t have my own, but this was specifically in reference to the hardships in my family.
Three angels (Peace, Calm, Joy) were perched on each corner, whereas the back, left corner, of my desk was vacant. There was no angel. God spoke into my spirit, “my angels of warfare use to be beside you, but you don’t need them right now. They are in the distance. There was a time you needed them and there will be times in the future, but for now, bask in my presence of peace, calm, and joy. Psalm 91:11
I remained silent and was overcome with a calm and gentleness of the Holy Spirit. I continued to give God my writing and asked Him to teach me.
“But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him” (1 John 2:27).
I continued to linger in God’s presence, which was like a thick cloud of God’s glory around me. I believe God’s presence is carried on the wings of angels. They carry the presence of our Holy God wherever they go. “an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them” Luke 2:9
Prophetic Assurance:
Within moments “QAI,” flashed before me. I sat in wonder how God was ministering even though I had no idea what QAI was. I wanted to know.
A short time after, I plugged in QAI into Google search. What came up was the acronym QAI for Quality Assurance International.
Though the words have no religious significance, God’s gentle voice said, "I'm giving you the Assurance that whatever you consecrate to me will be of Quality and reach Internationally. (Four corners of my computer represent four corners of the earth. There are several subscribers to this blog outside the US.)
God took my breath away, as He does so often, with three simple letters.
When I shared the acronym with my husband his immediate response was what it referred to in his line of work. I imagine there are hundreds of acronyms for QAI, but what came up first and foremost was God’s way of ministering to me the thoughts and desires of His heart.
What does all of this have to do with my blog and writing? God used all that I went through to reveal His glory and power on this blog.
God does not deviate from His plans. He oversaw every detail of my miracle journey, fulfilling every prophecy and prayer spoken over my life. If you need a miracle, take time to read additional post how God supernaturally carried out His will.
1. My Walk of Frustration and Angels occurred June 12, eighteen days before undergoing heart surgery. It’s where God reminded me of the names of the angels perched on my desk. I was led forth in peace.
2. Cross of Steel Dream, June 30, 2016: Exactly one year to the day I had heart surgery. A week after surgery God reminded me how He had “sealed” my heart with the Cross, which heals all of our diseases.
3. A week after surgery is when Speak A Prophetic Word revealed how the Lord guided a friend to pray for my health when she was unaware I was hospitalized.
Are you waiting for a miracle? Be patient. Trust what God is asking you to do. Pray and give God space in your life to take your breath way. Be alert, be ready, and wait with expectation!
