God Displaces Fear With Peace

When someone believes in the name of Jesus to save him and deliver him from sin, so often there is an immediate sense of freedom physically and emotionally. His spirit springs to life. It is not seen with physical eyes, but it is felt deep within the soul. 

We are living in a time where nations have asked their citizens to remain in isolation. Wherever you are, whatever your situation is, use this time to draw near to God. For those who believe in God’s Sovereignty, when you trust in him, HE WILL displace your concerns and worries with peace.

Below are some scriptures to help present your heart, mind, body, and soul to God. Allow time in God’s presence for his spirit to flow through you and fill you will peace. (2 Tim. 4:5, NLT). Experience an endless flow of God’s love. 

The gift of the Holy Spirit affords you the confidence to know him and recognize his voice. He will fill you with a peace that does not teeter back and forth from faith to fear each day. 

Spiritual confidence in God takes place in God’s presence. Faith that passes all understanding is supernatural. Philippians 4:7

Prayer, his Word, and worship draw us to the Lord with unwavering devotion and confidence that he will usher us into his presence. The more we seek him, the more irresistible he becomes. The more irresistible he is, the more we rely and trust him. 

Trusting God is knowing God is the Sovereign, omnipotent, and the all-powerful God that he is. At the end of the day, our ultimate source of comfort, confidence, and peace must rest in God and who he says he is. Here are some scriptures to ease your worries and help you focus on today.

Lord, give us heavens perspective how to pray and how to handle what is going on around us.


“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” John 14:27 TPT


“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.” Matthew 6:34 MSG


“I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4


“Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life,  then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.”
