Ninja’s & Flags Dream
I had this dream on December 19, 2016. The interpretation from 2016 is embedded within the dream in (ITALICS). How this dream connects to present-day events is at the end. It’s important for us to see what God foretold at the time of the dream and what has come to pass.
December 19, 2016
Scene one: A famous country singer was with her two young daughters and she was being interviewed. The girls were too small to know how to sing, but when the mother sang a Christian song they knew all the words. I didn’t know if they were Christians.
(A DREAM WITH A SPIRITUAL MESSAGE. DON’T LOSE SIGHT OF WHAT IS FIRST AND FOREMOST. THE DREAM BEGAN WITH THE MESSAGE OF MY SPIRITUAL HERITAGE IN CHRIST JESUS.)
They lived in New Jersey. The weather had changed conditions and because of the harsh winter, they could no longer do what they normally would do, i.e., climbing, hiking, etc. I got the feeling they didn’t want to stay there.
(STUCK.)
Scene two: I was with a former colleague.
(HISTORY, THE PAST.)
Scene three: I was with a childhood friend, as well as the mother of a close member of our family, who also went to my church. Both were Christians who played a pivotal role in knowing Christ as my Savior.
(REINFORCING A SPIRITUAL MESSAGE. I ACCEPTED CHRIST AS MY SAVIOR DURING MY YOUTH. My FOUNDATION AND SALVATION IS IN JESUS CHRIST AND GOD DOESN’T JUDGE MY PAST SINS. )
I walked into a bathroom stall and when I shut the door there were two toilets. I sat to the one on my left and told the ladies there was a second one next to me. I told them if they needed to use it at the same time it was fine.
(CLEANSING, FORGIVENESS. MY SINS HAVE BEEN PURGED IN THE “SEWER.”)
Scene four: I was an observer in this scene and looking down on what looked like a view from a satellite. I could see Michigan and the surrounding states and great lakes. As I looked down we were standing just outside the southwest border of Michigan, on the edge of Lake Michigan. It was winter and the lake was frozen. Rick and I were talking about how we could walk on water when it’s frozen because the winter had been so severe (which was true at the time of this dream).
(FROZEN WATER IS SYMBOLIC FOR STANDING ON SOLID GROUND IN CHRIST JESUS.
I WAS CONFIDENT THIS DREAM WAS CONFIRMING WHAT WE BELIEVED WHEN WE MOVED TO GERMANY IN 2011: GOD WAS UPROOTING US FROM MICHIGAN.)
Scene five: I was no longer looking down, but standing along the border of Michigan. Several flags from the United Nations were lined up; rounding the edge of the state. I thought it was for humanitarian reasons.
(FLAG SYMBOLIZING PRIDE AND HONOR. BANNER BRINGS UNITY.)
For the first time, I felt there was a switch and the United States was finally getting help from other nations. I was excited.
Rick was with me and we wondered where the United States flag was.
(AT THE TIME OF THIS DREAM WE WERE IN GERMANY AWAITING CONFIRMATION OF RICK’S JOB TRANSFER.)
I think there were six flags lined in a half-circle to the left and right side of us. I only remember seeing Japan, Switzerland, Germany, China, and Russia (primarily this part of the world). I don’t remember the sixth flag, just that there was a sixth. I felt there was a seventh flag in the dream and that it was the US flag, but it wasn’t visible.
(SIX - THE NUMBER OF MAN IN GENESIS. WHEN I WOKE UP I WONDERED IF THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE UN FLAGS OR IF THERE WERE MORE FLAGS THAT I COULDN’T REMEMBER.)
(THE DAY I HAD THIS DREAM, IT ENDED UP BEING THE SAME DAY WE WERE TOLD WHERE WE’D BE MOVING BACK TO THE UNITED STATES. RICK’S SUPERVISOR AND FULL TEAM REMAINED IN MICHIGAN, BUT WE WOULDN’T BE RETURNING TO MICHIGAN, AS THE DREAM FORETOLD.
FROM THE MOMENT I WOKE UP, GOD MADE IT EVIDENT THIS DREAM WAS WAS ALREADY IN MOTION. WHAT WAS BEGINNING TO UNFOLD WAS MORE THAN I COULD HAVE IMAGINED. I FELT IT WAS AN IMMEDIATE “ PAY ATTENTION AND DO NOT LOSE SIGHT OF THIS DREAM” MESSAGE FROM THE LORD.
Scene six: As we stood there I saw people coming from our left wearing black suits; armor that looked more like Ninja’s in black, and some wore mask and helmets. Some had glass in front of their faces.
(CHRISTIANS CAN DISCERN THE ENEMY. HE IS NOT HIDDEN FROM US.)
I warned those around us that they were not good and the flags were a decoy and that they are coming to destroy us. “They aren’t here to help us,” I said again, but nobody would believe me.
I was in a red suit and Rick was in blue.
(RED = BLOODSHED, WAR, SLAUGHTER. REVELATION 6:4-5)
[BLUE = ROYALTY, HEAVENLY, OR SPIRITUAL. RICK REPRESENTS HIMSELF BUT BECAUSE OF THE BLUE HE ALSO SYMBOLIZES CHRIST. BOTH ARE ALONGSIDE ME IN BATTLE. NUMBERS 15:38)

The “Ninja’s” started knocking down signs and flags.
(DISHONORING OUR FLAG AND WHAT THEY REPRESENT OF UNITY AND PRIDE.)
People believed me now.
(NEED FOR CONTINUAL SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT. BE COURAGEOUS AND WARN THE BODY OF CHRIST.)
Thankfully, Rick and I were in our protective gear when they attacked us with what I would consider a homemade cannon.
(DESIGNED TO DESTROY.)
It threw me back, but I told the others “they cannot harm us!”
The “Ninja” group shot another cannon towards Rick and I jumped in front of him because I knew my red suit was stronger and it could not be penetrated. When I jumped in front of him, the bullet ricocheted off my right knee. It looked like I was wearing a volleyball knee pad. They still couldn’t believe I was unharmed. When it ricocheted off of me, I yelled, “No, you can’t touch me!“ “Take that you dogs.”
As the “Ninja’s” ran closer to attack, we realized their mid-section had a cage connected to their center core with five snakes in it.
(CANNON = ANOTHER FORM OF ATTACK FROM THE ENEMY BECAUSE THE FIRST DID NOT WORK).
The snakes tried to attack our heads, but we were able to ward them off. It appeared they could easily get out, but for some reason, they could only reach so far through the cage.
(SNAKES - THE DEVIL SETS OUT TO DESTROY US. THE ATTACK TO THE HEAD STARTS WITH OUR THINKING. HE WANTS TO DESTROY THE AUTHORITY WE HAVE IN CHRIST. “HE WILL STRIKE YOUR HEAD, AND YOU WILL STRIKE HIS HEEL.” GENESIS 3:15) “HE WILL DO ANYTHING HE CAN TO GET US TO FOLLOW HIS EVIL, DEADLY PATH.” NLT STUDY BIBLE FOOTNOTE, P. 11
When we overpowered them, their masks were immediately turned off. Rick took the cage and put it on his head to figure out how it functioned and why the five snakes couldn’t reach all the way out of the cage. He said it was because the “Ninja’s” hand movements were limited. Even while Rick was taking authority, two tried to come at my head. I knew they wouldn’t get to me, but they were so close I screamed and jumped, awaking me abruptly from this dream. I knew it was spiritual warfare. End of dream.
(I TOOK AUTHORITY IN JESUS NAME WHEN I SAID “THEY CANNOT HARM US!” RICK DISCERNED THE ENEMIES TACTICS AND TOOK SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY.)
Upon waking up I knew this was a confirmation from the Lord that we were being uprooted from Michigan, the importance to keep the “Armor of God” on, and emphasizing that we are to be prepared for spiritual warfare. Also, a reminder that our authority and confidence are in the blood and name of Jesus. Rick and I are one in marriage and we are also one in Christ Jesus.
WHAT IS UNFOLDING PRESENT DAY:
No matter what is happening in the world, our nation, our cities, or in our own lives, it is no surprise to God. Whatever chaos or unrest we see around us, don’t put your confidence in people, leaders, kings, or princes, but in the Lord God. What God is saying now and forever is “turn to me.” The Lord is always seeking those who want to be found. “Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord. Say to him, “Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises.” Hosea 4:2 See War Monuments Dream
WHAT GOD HAS REINFORCED SINCE THE 2016 DREAM :
Childhood friends from church: My efforts for change are in vain without a solid foundation in Christ.
I also see how the famous singer represents today’s culture and how celebrities use their voice to speak out about politics. Many cause strife and the majority do not speak out for Biblical Truth. Christians need to be in prayer that Christian celebrities will rise up and use their voices to protect our religious freedoms and return to righteousness. When we do, we will see the love of God in our streets and his Word lived out.
“Stuck” in New Jersey: I believe this represents the state our country is in. At the time of this dream I just sensed this scene represented “stuck.” When this dream resurfaced each state had restrictions and “shelter-in-place due to COVID-19.
My former colleague represents the years I was employed with an organization committed to advancing racial equity and racial healing. A reminder for me to not forget the former things that have taken place and there is much still to be done. The dream highlights the spiritual and natural battle.

United Nations Flags: Since 2016, the United States has asked the United Nations to pay more of their share. Some are.
Six flags: The US flag wasn’t visible in the dream and it is now understood because of the present-day hatred for America and the increased destruction of the American flag. Also, the literal tearing down of flag poles and signs, and the hatred of many to rid America of their historical pride (see the beginning of the dream). This scene was literal in many ways and the Lord connected it to the War Monuments Dream.
Sin is like cancer. It spreads. Violence to tear down statues of individuals who owned slaves have turned to an assault on the church, i.e., symbols of Jesus, stained glass windows, and crosses are under attack. What one deems oppressive, another deems worthy to be remembered; for good or bad. “ Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14 HCSB
Warning others: My voice wasn’t heard in the dream. My voice may not be heard by many reading this blog or when we are trying to share the gospel. As Christians, we won’t always be heard. Stay the course. When we fight the good fight, do so in the name and authority of Jesus. It is the Holy Spirit that penetrates the heart.
I pray that I have the kind of courage to fight the spiritual battles for the things that have eternal value portrayed in this dream. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” Romans 1:16
Ninja Army: The “masked army” of violent protestors present day came appearing to be on a mission to promote social justice. Instead, they wreaked chaos, hate, violence, and murder in our streets.
ANTIFA is a group dressed in black and are known for wearing face coverings (Ninja’s). The “glass” covering can represent corrupt police officers (which is what set these evil events in motion.) It also represents those who wear/wore face coverings/masks due to the COVID-19 virus.) Christians, children, and families are under attack in America.
Knee: Represents the initial “attack” from the enemy. The unrest, i.e., “civil war,” “revolution,” as some call it, began in the dream and in reality when the knee of Derek Chauvin was pressed against George Floyd’s neck for almost eight minutes.
Know your enemy. This is represented in the dream when Rick put on the helmet with snakes. When he took authority, the Ninja’s stopped and their power was “turned off.” The Holy Spirit will reveal to us what is Truth and what are lies. There is only one Truth, one Savior, and that is in Christ.
Five Snakes: The enemy is at the “core” of the evil running rampant in our country, the world. Five also represents deceit of the five-fold ministry. Beware of false prophets and teachers in the church. Read Ephesians 4:11-13
When the five-fold ministry in the church is absent, the work of the Lord is less effective. “The apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers” are supposed to be there to equip God’s people to “build up the church, the body of Christ, ‘until we come to such unity’.” When the church doesn’t work together, the church is more than likely to be divided.
Don’t let the enemy twist the Word of God. If a movement is founded on hate, murder, and chaos, that is not of God and division ensues. They may “appear” to come with a message of hope for the future, but do their actions honor God Almighty? God’s mission is always, “that none should perish.” I Peter 3:9
DO NOT SIT AT THE TABLE WITH DEMONS. I Corinthians 10:20-22
“And I don’t want you to participate with demons. You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons, too. You cannot eat at the Lord’s Table and at the table of demons, too. What? Do we dare to rouse the Lord’s jealousy? Do you think we are stronger than he is?”
Those who come seeking destruction, division, and hate are lead by the enemy (snakes in the cage). They are “wrapped” in the schemes of demonic forces and invisible principalities. We are not fighting man. It’s a spiritual battle. Get mad at the enemy, not man.
“Satan is the accuser of the brethren.” Revelation 12:9-11

“Thus says the Lord: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.” Jeremiah 22:3
Reflection:
Pray for the church to return to righteousness. The church can do little to bring “heaven to earth” if hearts are not surrendered to Christ. Psalm 34:15 Psalm 112:6 Matthew 6:33
As you read this dream, ask yourself, when you stand before Christ, how will he judge your actions during this time in history? What was his priority?
Who are you listening to? Does your life and do your actions exhibit the characteristics of Christ, i.e., love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control? Galatians 5:21-23
Pray for your nation and your leaders (city, state, and national leaders).
Keep your Armor of God on and pray in the spirit at all times. Ephesians 6:10-18 God’s Warrior Dream
Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, for your sins have brought you down.
Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord.
Say to him,
“Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us,
so that we may offer you our praises.
Assyria cannot save us, nor can our warhorses.

The Lord says,
“Then I will heal you of your faithlessness;

Let those who are wise understand these things.
Let those with discernment listen carefully.
The paths of the Lord are true and right,
and righteous people live by walking in them.
But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.
